Structured in four acts, the play tries to find parallels between old and new ways of colonialism, by telling the story of France Antarctique, a colony set by Nicolas Durand de Villegagnon, from 1555 to 1570, on the Guanabara Bay.
Considered a mythical-historical happening to the inauguration of Rio de Janeiro as 2nd capital of the country, the french colony inspires Francisco Carlos' text in bringing contemporary discussions about the polarization between europeans and non-europeans, past-presente-future, nomad societies and western modernities, among other subjects..
