A Tupinamba feast happens 500 years ago. A father-in-law, a fiancee, an convicted fiance and a brother-in-law. All cannibals, they dring Cauim, the "juice-of-memory", contaminating themselves with the arrival of the Jaguar, amog exchanges, alliances and vengeance wars.
The series comprises of the pieces Banquete Tupinambá, Aborígene em Metrópolis, Xamanismo The Connection and Floresta de Carbono - de Volta ao Paraíso Perdido
The setting, conceived and directed by amazonian writer Francisco Carlos, presents elements from the Tupinamba and Kamaruyá cultures, like their conflict with the whites, their rituals and religion. The narrative also portrays a fusion between the greek culture and western mythology, by highlighting themes such as metropolis architechture, sexuality, contemporary cinema and the class conflict.
